NHL Players By Nationality 7

I'm watching a match by using a buddy recently and we all must speaking about what amount of Russians were playing within the NHL at the moment, given that it looks like there's not as much as there was in the past. I absolutely thought I'd reduce the numbers pertaining to NHL players today and where they come from. These numbers are from today and depending on the teams' active rosters. Lithuania, Norway, Italy, Kazakstan, Slovenia and Poland all have one current NHL player. Belarus, Latvia and Switzerland have 3 each. Ukraine and Denmark both have 4. Germany has 9, Slovakia 11, Russia 22, Finland 27, Czech Republic 41, Sweden 46, USA 151 and Canada has 397. So determined by these numbers, just below 55% percent of NHL players are Canadian, almost 21% are American along with the other countries in the countries assemble represent approximately 24% of the players. Using current population numbers you can state that 0.00001164% of Canadians participate in the NHL, while 0.00000049% of Americans are NHL players and 0.00000507% of Swedes. Since Canada is the most NHL players plus the highest area of its citizens playing within the NHL, I chose to break down the numbers according province. From least to most鈥?the Territories already have got no players, New Brunswick has 2, Prince Edward Island 3, Newfoundland 5, Nova Scotia 6, Manitoba 21 Bc 40, Saskatchewan 44, Quebec聽 53, Alberta 63 and Ontario 157. Again, using current population statistics, Ontario has 0.00001189% with their population playing around the NHL and Saskatchewan is a highest 0.00003143%. Weeks surprise that Canada supplies more hockey players on the NHL than other country, but I think it is interesting to collapse the numbers,
